Soon to be whistleblower who worked for Monsanto will be releasing documents detailing how Monsanto planned to kill off bee colonies in order to introduce a “new and improved” species of bee that will only pollinate Monsanto crops

And for those who said crops aren’t pollinated by bees? You’re wrong. Alfalfa is http://blog.targethealth.com/?p=58

And if you think Monsanto isn’t dominating our government? Read some cables released by wikileaks all about our officials asking for talking points from them, our ambassadords urging trade wars on their behalf:

Are they evil enough to do this? Read up about Monsanto:

  1. miko says:

This is a load of bull. Most corn and soy grown on about 150 millions of US land is GM and its theUS # 1 export billions of $$$$ and the government is trying to protect ag against illegal blocking of imports even the EU agencies approve these products. This is not a really relevant issue. How about China subsidizing their 200 small polluting chem companies to make glyphosate to beat Monsanto — a communist country? Now they have to shut these factroies because they polluted the areas and made polluted product

    • abz says:

      corporate plant here..

    • oslo says:

miko, it’s clear to anyone reading this website that you are a shill, paid by monsanto to produce misinformation. EU DOES NOT APPROVE OF THESE GM PRODUCTS. THAT’S WHY THEY’RE BANNED OR EXPLICITLY LABELED AS GM. i can tell by your vocabulary you’ve been prepped on this topic, so you know better than to mislead people. my only advice is as follows: first, realize i forgive you for this, and two, find a more fulfilling occupation.

    • Lindsay says:

The EU does NOT approve these products! Especially where labelling is not up to standard and therefore illegal here because our consumers still have a voice! Worry about what companies in your own country are doing first before you moralise about other companies. Funny how you think it’s ok for Monsanto to force unwanted products on us in Europe by using what you call and illegal block. Over here we are still a democracy and have the right to know what is in our food and make our own choices and will continue to fight the spread of gm crops and products which cause death, sickness, misery, poverty through big brother tactics and terrorism.

    • mE says:

You’re a load, dude. With all due respect, wake the fuck up.

  2. dave says:

Not bull. Its an issue. STuff like this can wreak whole crops for everyone. I’m sure there are issues with China. We know they are approved. That is the problem. You shouldn’t be able to control any sort of actual product. Sure it grows bigget better faster ect. but just because your super crop invaded my organic wheat farm doesn’t mean I should be put under and have to pay them if they cross pollinate. That is what a company like Monsanto will do.

    • mickey two thumbs says:

don’t worry about comments like “miko”….”miko’s” opinions are probably paid for, if you know what I mean. There are always paid douches commenting on anything anti GMO.

      • Angela says:

You are so right — although I disagree with you about one thing:
GMO crops do not grow “bigger better faster etc”
It has been proven again and again that small, diverse, organic farms have better yield than large scale crops. Especially in difficult weather.

WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!!!

  4. Frank says:

This is bull. Corn is Monsanto main crop and it is pollinated from the wind. Not bees.

    • unfiltered_media says:

Sorry Frank, we disagree. Here’s a video of bees pollinating corn. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJeEYC7oRW8

      • Allen says:

Bees often visit corn and the flowers of other wind-pollinated plants, but they’re not necessary. Wind is perfectly sufficient for pollination, though. This is not a controversial fact.

    • oslo says:

monsanto is ALWAYS diversifying it’s holdings/products, this is what every multi-national conglomerate does to increase profits. they’re even expanding into genetically modified livestock (they’ve already got a GM pig). by your logic, because monsanto will make beaucoup bux on the GM pigs (like with the corn), they have no need for GM bees. thus, you say this article is misleading. however, your logic is flawed, and monsanto is profit hungry by definition, therefore you are wrong.

    • Lindsay says:

Awww Frank. You need to do some reading on this.

    • Tami in TX says:

Corn is pollinated primarily by wind (have you ever read the book Seed to Seed?). However, about 30-50% of our food is pollinated by bees. Possibly more. Nothing would surprise me about Monsanto…. they are evil.

DDT, Dioxin, Agent Orange, Ethoxiquin, rGBH. This is the tip of a very large iceberg, but how is it a chemical, and synthetic rug company is suddenly in control of our food supply? Especially taking there track record into consideration. They have there yes men and women through out the government from the presidency, congress, and even the Supreme Court! They are well entrenched into our government as well as Big Pharma and the Big Banksters! They have control through there advertising dollars to make the lame stream media totally ignore this!!

  9. mE says:

It does not surprise me at all that there are people here denying the necessity of bees for the pollination of crops. Let them eat GMO.

  10. Brandon says:

The benefit of GMO’s is that they are helping humans become infertile so we slowly over time won’t be able to have kids through sex and will shift to reproducing more intelligently by having kids in test tubes. This means sex will be for fun. Then women won’t have to have to carry the child and go through all the process of carrying a child etc.

    • Jesse says:

I seriously hope that this comment and this Orwellian mindset of yours was intended to be facetious.. It’s downright scary to think someone would be so foolish as to not recognize the enormous risk to our freedom if we became dependent upon others outside of ourselves to be able to reproduce! It would mean the death of liberty.. It would be a totalitarian, global fascist government’s wet dream. Nothing short of total control over humanity’s very existence. Only an true idiot would glorify such a departure from the natural way of things! =/

  11. Pati Gant says:

I just got a letter from Larry Springer, my elected representative in Olympia Washington. He stated he had read my concerns, but GMOs mean better food supplies in 3rd world countries. Maybe I should run for his seat in the next election!
